Debt collection

Solo or crew

The supplier has people who don't pay. You pay them a visit, you convince them, you take your cut. Some fold, some run, some have friends.

The plan#

  1. Take the contractPhone's Contracts app, under Jobs. The supplier texts you the address, the amount and what kind of guy you're dealing with.
  2. Go thereAlone or with your crew. He's hanging around outside his place, far from where you are. A green area and a marker on the map lead you there; up close, he's marked.
  3. Make him foldDepends on the guy: stick him up, chase him down, or clear out his friends. An on-screen banner tells you where you stand.
  4. Get paidWhen he folds, he pays. The commission is split evenly between the collectors on site, in cash.

One debt at a time per crew. If whoever took it logs off, a crewmate picks it up. The wait before the next one starts when you accept: dropping the debt or running out of time doesn't reset it.

Three kinds of deadbeat#

The cowardnormal debt

  • Keep him at gunpoint for 4 s and he coughs it up.
  • Easiest, lowest pay.

The runnerdebt +15%

  • He bolts as soon as you get close. His marker follows him on your map.
  • He runs out of breath eventually: stick him up while he's winded.

The loudmouthdebt +40%

  • 2 armed, armored buddies around him, and they open fire as soon as you get close.
  • Take them out, then stick him up.

Whatever kind he is, you can also beat him: roughed up, he pays. Just don't hit too hard.

The supplier's rules#

Kill him and you only get 15% of the debt, whatever he had on him. The supplier makes you wait 10 min longer for your next contract, and a killing in the street draws witnesses (★★).

If someone else takes him out before you, you get nothing, but the supplier doesn't hold it against you.

Even when it goes smoothly, it makes noise 30% of the time: passersby who saw you pull out their phones. Shut them up before they call (see wanted stars). Nobody around, nobody calls.

A collected debt also raises your bounty by 10% of your cut.

Classified

The runner takes off when you're . He sprints for then catches his breath for : that's your window. . To get your share, you have to when he pays. The supplier only has across the whole city.

Against the loudmouth, bring company. His buddies can't aim, but there are 2 of them.
