When it happens#

As soon as your bounty hits $50,000, the wanted notice goes out and 3 posters get pasted on walls within 400 m of you. On them: your real mugshot, your name, your gang and its emblem, your bounty, your charge, where you were seen and at what time.

Move more than 600 m? A new batch goes up where you are, at most one every 5 min. Past 9 posters, the oldest one peels off.

The posters grow with you: from ★★★★, an ARMED AND DANGEROUS stamp; past $100,000 of bounty, someone scrawled Public enemy! in marker.

When it stops#

• Your bounty drops below $50,000 (you got taken out and someone collected it): they all come down.
• You get arrested: they all come down.
• Each poster peels off on its own after 45 min.
• You log off: they stay up 10 min, then vanish.

Everyone else: tear them down#

1. Find the posterOn a wall, often near an ATM or a busy sidewalk.
2. Tear itFacing it, E then hold for 2.5 s.
3. Cash in$250 in cash.
4. Follow the leadA lead: a red circle on the map for 90 s, around where the guy was seen, with how many minutes ago.

The wanted player is warned as soon as someone tears down one of his posters. Between members of the same gang, you can tear it, but no reward and no lead: you don't rat out your own.

You: cover your tracks#

You can tear down your own posters (no reward, obviously). It's not about looks: when you have stars and your posters are up near you, people around recognize you, and losing the cops gets harder. Your stars don't change, but the getaway gets tougher. A message warns you when it happens.
