Auction House
SoldOne car too many in your garage? Put it up for auction at Legion Square. Other players bid, even while you're away, and the money lands in your bank.
Selling#
- See the auctioneerAt Legion Square, blip on the map. On foot, E to talk to him.
- Pick your carIt has to be parked in your garage, trunk empty. A stolen car can't be sold here. You see it spin on the display stand before you decide.
- Set your termsStarting price (10%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of the catalog value, at least $100), length, and whether you want a buyout price (×1, ×1.5 and ×2 the catalog value, always above the start).
- WaitThe car leaves your garage. The whole server sees the listing in the chat, and every bid reaches you by text.
- Cash inAt the end, the car goes to the winner and you get the price minus 5%, to your bank. No bids? It goes back to your garage.
As long as nobody has bid, you can pull your listing: the car goes back to your garage, free of charge.
When you pick your starting price, the auctioneer shows you the last sale of the same model. The Latest sales menu keeps the last 30 prices, with their share of the catalog value.
Buying#
To bid, you have to be at the auction house, in front of the auctioneer. The menu stays open and updates live: other people's bids, the countdown. The display stand shows the car's real performance, upgrades included, and its condition.
- Bid: one of the suggested steps, or a custom amount (
10k,1.5maccepted). You need at least the current bid plus 5% (at least $100). - Held until the end: your bid is paid right away, bank first, then cash. Someone outbids you? You get it back, the cash part in cash, and a text tells you.
- Buyout: if the seller set one, the car is yours on the spot. Already leading? You only pay the difference.
- Reputation: you need the car's reputation level, same as at a dealership.
- Delivery: you win, it's waiting in your garage, even if you were offline.
No bidding on your own sale, and no raising your own bid when you're already leading.
What the cops won't tell you#
A bid placed with less than left . Last-second sniping doesn't work here.
If you get outbid, a reminder text also lands , so you have time to come back.
Sellers, check the last sale of the same model before setting your price: the auctioneer shows it to you.
