The runner#
Hit ★★★★: the Weazel chopper shows up and won't let go. Every player gets the alert. You do what you do best: run.
You get awaycash bonus
- You lose the cops: not a single star for a few seconds.
- You collect the ratings bonus, in cash. The more viewers, the bigger it gets.
- It counts toward the "Crime money" leaderboard.
You go downnothing for you
- Arrested, killed, or logged off: it's over.
- Your ratings bonus goes to whoever bet "he goes down".
- Nobody bet against you? It goes up in smoke.
You can bet, but only on yourself.
The viewer#
Open the Live app on your phone: map, speed, cops on his tail, live odds and a news ticker running commentary. Or go fullscreen with /direct: camera on the runner, TV-news style. The arrow keys switch cameras (chopper, chase, roadside).
Fullscreen isn't for you if the cops are on your tail or you're in a cell.
- Pick a sideHe gets away or he goes down, in the app or fullscreen (keys 1 and 2, $1,000 stake).
- Stake$500, $1,000, $2,500 and $5,000, one bet per broadcast, within 90 s of the start. Taken from your bank account first, then your cash.
- The verdictLosers pay winners, in proportion to their stakes. The house takes 10% of the losing bets. Nobody on the other side? Your bet comes back.
- PayoutYour stake and winnings land in your bank, even if you logged off in the meantime.
Members of the runner's gang can't bet on him going down.
