Vendetta
5 min manhuntSomeone gunned you down for no reason? Swear revenge. For 5 min, you know roughly where they're hiding, and they know you're coming.
Swearing revenge#
- You get gunned downBy a player, with no good reason (see below).
- You swearThe death screen offers it with the killer's name: you have 90 s to press H. It's free.
- You hunt themFor 5 min, their rough area is on your map, updated as they move. They get warned and see the timer.
- You drop them in time$3,000 in cash, and it counts toward the "Vendettas" leaderboard.
If they last until the end, they're the one collecting $1,000. And when you take them down, you're the one acting in self-defense: no murder bounty on your head, as long as it happens within 10 min of your death.
The H key can be changed in FiveM's key bindings.
No vendetta when...#
- A teammate killed you.
- You'd killed them yourself less than 10 min earlier: they were getting even.
- You had a bounty on your head: they were hunting.
- During the Bounty Hunt and Settling Scores events: killing is the game.
- One of you is already caught up in a vendetta, or you two had one less than 30 min ago.
- They're already in prison when you swear.
During the manhunt#

The target can't take shelter in a property while the vendetta lasts. And at the fight club, a running vendetta strips the bar's protection: neither the avenger nor the target is safe in there.
What the cops won't tell you#
The circle on your map has a from where they really are. It moves every .
Hiding more than in total counts as running away: the avenger gets paid. In prison, the vendetta just drops, no reward.
Two buddies killing each other for the cash won't get far: the same pair only collects .
The vendetta timer also shows on your phone's home screen, whether you're hunting or being hunted.
