Fight club
At the Tequi-la-laA ring smack in the middle of the Tequi-la-la, in Vinewood. No weapons, no referee, no dying: just your fists, a stake and a room betting on you.
The bar#
The Tequi-la-la, in Vinewood, is marked on the map. Walking into the bar means walking into the club. The bar is neutral ground: weapons away, no punches outside the ring, and damage from other players is cancelled. You're protected, unless you have stars, a bounty, a vendetta running, or you've just traded blows with someone outside.
Everything goes through the bookmaker: challenges, bets, tournaments, records, the weekly leaderboard. The bar's punching bag is there to train.
The fight#
One fight at a time in the ring, bare-knuckle. Ring busy? Sign up for the next one, 4 fights max in the queue. Your bar drains with every hit until the KO. Nobody down after 2 min: win on points, by damage dealt. Stay out of the ring more than 10 s, leave the bar or pull a weapon: forfeit. Nobody ever dies in the ring.
Betting#
For 20 s before each fight, the crowd bets in cash, from $100 to $5,000. One bet per fight, and never on your own.
- Between players: parimutuel. Winners split the losers' money, in proportion to their bet, minus 10%. Nobody on the other side, or a draw: everyone gets refunded.
- Against the house: it pays fixed odds, depending on the fighter. It only covers $10,000 in bets per fight.
- The Survivor: no betting.

The formats#
Challengeup to $10,000
- Another player, same stake on both sides.
- The winner takes the pot, minus 10%.
- They have 30 s to accept.
Against the house$200 – $5,000
- A house fighter, an entry fee.
- Put him down, collect the prize, boosted by your reputation bonus.
- The toughest ones only take on players with some level.
| Fighter | Style | Level | Entry | Prize |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Twitchy | Brawler | 1 | $200 | $600 |
| The Pest | Pest | 3 | $400 | $1,300 |
| Big Bill | Wall | 5 | $750 | $2,400 |
| The Snake | Counter-puncher | 10 | $1,200 | $4,200 |
| The Butcher of Davis | Brawler | 15 | $2,000 | $7,500 |
| The Bolingbroke Colossus | Wall | 30 | $5,000 | $18,000 |
Each fighter has a style: the Brawler walks forward and swings, the Pest sticks to you and hits fast, the Wall soaks up everything and never drops, the Counter-puncher waits for your mistake. A loss blocks nothing, but a fighter you just beat won't step back in against you right away.
Special fights#
- 2 vs 2: pick your partner and both opponents at the bookmaker, all three have to accept. The winning team splits the pot. Not enough people? The house lends up to 2 fighters, with at least two real players, and the stake is then capped at $1,000. A team loses when both its fighters are down.
- The Survivor: from level 5, $1,500 to get in. House fighters one after another, tougher and tougher, each one down fills the pot. 90 s per fighter. Between rounds, E to cash out and leave. Knocked out, out of time or out of the ring: you keep only 50%. Then 20 min before you can go again.
- Tournament for 4 or 8: a player opens it at the bookmaker, entry from $500 to $5,000, single elimination, no stakes. Not full after 6 min? Half full, house fighters fill the bracket; otherwise everyone gets refunded. The winner takes the entries minus the house cut, plus $2,000. Leaving the bar means forfeiting.
Leveling up#
Two stats, from 0 to 10: Power (+2.5% punch strength per level) and Stamina (+3% before the KO per level). They go up in fights (hits landed for Power, hits taken for Stamina, a bonus for winning) and on the punching bag: 8 punches to land on the beat, one session every 45 s. Each source has its own daily cap.
Wins that count (against the house, a challenge at $500 or more, a tournament fight) earn you titles, with a bonus at every tier:
| Title | Wins | Bonus |
|---|---|---|
| Scrapper | 5 | $1,000 |
| Brawler | 15 | $3,000 |
| Heavyweight | 30 | $7,500 |
| Basement Terror | 60 | $15,000 |
| Tequi-la-la Legend | 100 | $30,000 |
Everyone starts as a Rookie. Wins that count also go toward the "Fights won" leaderboard, and 3 in a row get you announced as Basement Champion by Weazel News.
The belt#
One Tequi-la-la belt on the whole server. When vacant, it goes to the first one to string together 3 wins that count. The champion can only lose it in a challenge at $1,000 or more. Every successful defense at that price pays $1,500 from the house.
What the cops won't tell you#
Against the house, the crowd can only bet .
A champion who doesn't defend the belt for loses it. The defense bonus only drops .
After trading blows outside, the bar only protects you again after .
A challenge under $500 is for honor only: no record, no streak, no leaderboard.
