Low-keyThe bank counter starts asking questions past a certain stack. The launderer never does. He just takes a bigger cut, and a little less every time your name gets around.
How it works#
You hand him cash, he puts it in your bank account, minus his cut. No cap, no alarm, no teller adding up your deposits: it's the way out when you come back from a big job with a bag that won't close.
Why the hurry? Because when you die, 80% of the cash you carry ends up in the bag on your body, for whoever searches it first. In your account, nobody touches it.

At his spot#
- Find himThere are 2, each in a quiet corner of town, smoke in hand. Same icon as the banks, but in yellow, and it only shows on the radar once you're in the area. The GPS app on your phone knows them too.
- Talk to himE in front of him. Out come his rate book and his bill counter.
- Pick the amountA set amount or all your cash. The book shows what you hand him, what he gives back clean, and what you'd have kept at the nearest bank.
- Let it countThe machine spins, the money lands in your account. You take it out later at a counter or an ATM.
If you'd rather use the bank, the book has a button that sets your GPS to the closest one. Walk away and he puts his book away.
His cut#
The bigger your name on the street, the less he takes. What counts is your reputation level, at the last tier you've reached. His book shows you the next tier.

With stars on you, he won't take a dime: "come back when you've lost the cops". Lose them first, launder after. And if you pick up stars while you're standing there, he won't touch your money.
Big bag, long drive: every minute you carry that cash is a minute you can lose it. The closest launderer sometimes beats the best cut.
A stolen car doesn't go through him: to launder one, there are the illegal garages.
One of them waits in , the other in . At level 40, he only takes : the gap with the bank is then just , the price of your peace of mind.
