The phone
Your Swiss army knife. Contracts, gang, bank, garage, GPS, messages: almost the whole game runs through it. Up arrow and it's out.
Getting started#
Up arrow to pull it out (or /phone). Mouse or keyboard: arrows, Enter, Backspace to go back. To put it away: Escape, Backspace from the home screen, or click outside it. You can walk and drive with the phone open.
The home screen shows your cash, your bank and your reputation, what's waiting for you (missed call, gang invite, vendetta in progress...), then the apps sorted into three families: Contacts, Business and Life. Each app has its own colour.
With the phone put away, texts, calls and gang alerts arrive in a banner at the bottom right.
Contacts#
| App | What it does |
|---|---|
| Phone | The keypad and a log of your last 25 calls. Voice calls, your contact hears you wherever they are. An incoming call doesn't pull the phone out: a banner rings for 25 s, up arrow to pick up. |
| Messages | Your texts, kept between sessions (30 conversations). A message carrying a location gets a Route button. That's where Vito, the chop shop or the auctions write to you. |
| Contacts | Your address book, 50 numbers max. |
| Online | The players connected right now. |
| Gang | Your gang: chat, invites, colour and emblem, weekly contracts and ranking, history. |
Business#
| App | What it does |
|---|---|
| Contracts | All the work, in four families (details below). |
| Uber Bagarre | Hire and manage your henchmen. |
| Turf | Your territories and the racket. |
| Walls | Your gang's tags, the turfs held by the walls, the contested ones. |
| Street | Your girls. |
| Network | Your dealers. |
| Courier | Your convoys. |
| Bounties | The heads with a price on them, and putting one on someone. |
| Vendetta | Your revenge in progress, its timer and its rules. |
| Live | The car chase filmed by the Weazel News chopper, and the bets. |
| Counter | Orders between players: place one or deliver one. |
| Exchange | The prices on the fence exchange: what's rising, what's crashing. |
The Contracts app#
Missions in progress show at the top, the current street event right under them, then four families:
- Jobs (solo): chop shop, debt collection, hit contracts, kidnappings, bounty hunter.
- Scores (solo or in a group): gang stashes, gun running, airdrops, raiding a rival crew's HQ.
- Heists (in a crew): armored truck, Paleto, Pacific Standard.
- Supplier: product on order for dealing.
Life#
| App | What it does |
|---|---|
| Bank | Bank-to-bank transfers, never cash, from $100 to $1,000,000, 2% paid by the sender. The recipient's name shows before you confirm. |
| Garage | The state of your cars, where the one that's out is, the tow truck to bring it back, and the mechanic who delivers a stored car right next to you for $500. |
| Home | Your apartments and your respawn point. |
| My dog | Your dog: hunger, mood, training, call it or send it away. |
| Prison | Sentences, and everything that happens while you're inside. |
| Reputation | Your level, the scale, the next unlocks (reputation). |
| Leaderboard | Your place in each ranking, the top and the podiums paid every Monday. |
| Challenges | Your 3 daily and 3 weekly challenges, your streak, and a free swap for the one you don't like. |
| My record | Your police file and the recap of your jobs. |
| Detective | The cop who sticks to you. |
| GPS | 8 place categories: banks, launderers, dealerships, workshops, garages, gun stores, the dirty stuff, convenience stores... One click and the route is set. |
| Wiki | This wiki, full size, in your language and theme. Escape to go back to the phone. |
| Settings | Number, sounds, look (see below). |
Settings#
Your number, the ringtone, alerts (heists and bounties in progress, mute them if they bug you), airplane mode (unreachable, messages wait), blocked numbers. For the look: the theme of the whole interface (Casier or Nuit), the language (French or English, for the whole server), the model, 6 colours and 6 free wallpapers. Being harassed? Change your number for $500: your conversations stay, but your contacts will have to learn your new number.
Models#
The classic is free. The others are bought once and for all from one of the 4 street vendors, on the sidewalk near convenience stores (marker on the map, E). Each model changes how the phone is shown: flip phone, keypad that lights up, screen lying sideways, camera moving over your shoulder... Switch between yours in Settings > Model, which also gives you the route to the nearest vendor.
| Model | Price |
|---|---|
| Classic | Free |
| Flip | $2,500 |
| Badger | $6,000 |
| Landscape | $8,000 |
| Slider | $12,000 |
| Foldable | $20,000 |
| iFruit | $35,000 |

Blocking someone cuts their texts, calls and location , and . The mechanic won't deliver with cops on your tail or less than after a fight, and . Walk up within and he stops right there.
